meet the team …
Todd Klugh, Executive Chef
Chef Todd began his culinary journey at the Silver Lake Drive-In, an unlikely starting point for a chef. Over the next 40 years, his passion for cooking blossomed into a fantastic culinary story that ultimately led him to create TK’s on the Falls.
Following an education degree in Ohio, TK returned to WNY… briefly. He then moved to coach in Finland, Germany, Austria, and Serbia. It was during this time, balancing teaching with part-time kitchen work, that he realized his true passion was in the kitchen. While in Austria, he received the call informing him of his new chef job in Rochester.
Chef Todd’s favorite items: everything, but poutine and beef bourguignon. Drinks: a classic dirty martini – vodka, up, with an olive – or a PBR or Old Milwaukee.
Maria Mysak, General Manager
You could say our GM, Maria, is a woman of the world – having been born in Budapest and raised in NYC, it’s in her blood to serve those that are Hungary (:
Maria moved to Rochester to pursue her degree in photography to finetune her passion for capturing life’s moments. With over 20 years of experience, she’s become an expert in project management, creative solutions, and all things kitchen-related.
Forget Tony Danza – she’s the boss. As the GM at TK’s, Maria is dedicated to ensuring every diner leaves with a smile. Her drink of choice? Wine or seltzer. And her favorite dish? The chicken riggies and the chicken cutlets, or whatever is fresh and in season.
